We’re still working on getting Shannon’s nausea under control, and her doctors have a plan. Step 1 is to observe her overnight to better figure out what works and what doesn’t. Hopefully, she’ll get to come home tomorrow. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go pack her some jammies.
1st round of chemo: Fail. Too much nausea + loss of fluids = 2:30 am trip to the emergency room. She home now and resting. The IV fluids and anti-nausea medication seems to have done the trick. Just needed to break the cycle and keep her healthy.

Shannon’s lump was found 6 weeks ago today. Tomorrow, she starts chemotherapy. A lot went on before then and a lot has happened since then, but life goes on.
Shannon’s getting her IV port installed today. Just a short surgery.
